TEKONSHA, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan Department of Transportation will be repairing the Old U.S. 27 bridge over I-69 in Tekonsha starting on Monday.
The $530,000 project will involve deck patching, bearing realignment, healer sealer application, and substructure repairs.
Work is scheduled to be done by Friday, October 18, 2024.
Drivers should use caution and stay alert in the area over the next couple of months as Old U.S. 27 will be closed over I-69.
In addition, traffic on the interstate will be reduced to one lane in each direction while the work is being done.
Old U.S. 27 traffic will be rerouted away from the construction.
