COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A man who has been in and out of the Michigan Department of Corrections for over a decade will be going back to prison.
34-year-old Cody Lotridge, who last known address was in Quincy, was ordered to serve at least two years behind bars in the M.D.O.C. on Monday in Branch County Circuit Court after he entered a guilty plea last month to a charge of assaulting, resisting or obstructing a Coldwater Police officer on April 20, 2024.
In exchange for his plea, prosecutors dismissed two other similar charges as well as a count of disturbing the peace.
Lotridge was given credit for 114 days already served in jail.
On line records from the Michigan D.O.C. for Lotridge show convictions for getting into confrontations with police in Hillsdale County in 2013 and 2019. He was also convicted of felonious assault in Hillsdale County in 2013.
