BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Summer vacation is over and it’s back to school for students in Branch County.
The new school year starts Monday for students in the Coldwater, Bronson and Quincy school districts.
Classes also resume Monday in the Branch Intermediate School District and at Pansophia Academy.
Classes resume in Tekonsha on Wednesday and in the Union City school district next Monday, August 26.
There have been numerous school administrative changes around Branch County in recent months.
Steve Hope is the new principal at Coldwater High School. Katie Fleming is now the assistant principal at Legg Middle School.
Sarah Neubecker is the new Principal at Lakeland Elementary School. She succeeds Gary Dancer, who was promoted to be the Coldwater Community School district’s new Director of Curriculum and Instruction.
There is an opening for Principal at Max Larsen Elementary after Julie Farmer accepted an administrative position with Otsego Public Schools. Farmer will be the Director of PreK and Elementary Curriculum and Instruction in Otsego. Her last day in Coldwater will be on August 30.
Bronson High School graduate Mike Miller has returned to his alma mater to be that school’s new principal while Michael Bates is the new Principal at Union City Elementary School.
