BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – A Quincy High School graduate is among 17 recipients of the Kellogg Community College Foundation’s Gold Key Scholarship.
Kimberly Abbeg of Quincy is a 4-H member who dual-enrolled at K.C.C. and the Branch Area Careers Center. She plans to study early childhood education.
This year’s Gold Key Scholarship, which is considered the College’s most prestigious scholarship, resulted in over $76,000 in total student funding for the 2024-25 academic year.
Gold Key Scholarships are awarded to full-time freshmen to recognize and encourage outstanding academic and personal achievement, leadership and community service.
Recipients who qualify are awarded $4,500 each year for up to two academic years to use toward tuition, fees and books.
