COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater has announced that weather permitting, Branch County Road Commission crews will be chip sealing at four locations on Monday.
Work will be performed on Race Street between Butters Avenue and Walnut, Industrial Avenue, Hillside Drive and on Jay Street south of West Pearl.
Work is expected to be completed between 6:30 a.m. and 12 noon.
The City Council approved a proposal from the Branch County Road Commission in April to complete chip sealing road maintenance work for the City similar to work done in recent years on Fiske Road. The work is estimated to cost just over $71,700.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane on Jay Street south of Garfield. All other streets will not be accessible for a short period of time.
Drivers are being asked to pay attention to flaggers and exercise caution with loose stones.
Oh Great! More fake road maintenance and waste of tax payer money.
