COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Do you live in Branch County and have some scrap tires on your property you want to get rid of? A Branch County Scrap Tire Recycling event has been scheduled for Saturday, October 12.
Tires from Branch County residents only will be collected between 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. that morning at the Department of Health and Human Services Building at 388 Keith Wilhelm Drive.
This event is free. Up to 10 residential tires will be accepted per vehicle. Collection will be on a first come, first serve basis.
Tractor tires will not be accepted. Registration is encouraged by going to countyofbranch.com or by calling (517) 279-4301.
The event is being provided by Branch County and the Southwest Michigan Solid Waste Consortium through the Michigan ELGE Scrap Tire Grant.
