COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County United Way kicked off their fall campaign on Friday with their annual RadioThon which was carried live on AM 1590 and FM 95.5 WTVB.
Thanks to the help of sponsors, individuals, and businesses, the United Way was able to surpass their $15,000 goal and raise $16,550 during the eight hour RadioThon.
Officials say every dollar raised directly impacts 26 local partner agencies working to address critical needs in the community.
This year’s RadioThon was held at the Chameleon Pottery Studio on South Monroe Street and engaged local youth sports and high school organizations.
Gift cards from local restaurants and other prizes were also given away during the RadioThon.
