BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Besides the various national and state races on the November 5 general election ballot, voters in the Coldwater, Bronson and Quincy School Districts will be deciding contested races for school board seats.
Kathryn Frederick, Ronald Lanford and Jim Bilsborrow are running for two seats on the Coldwater Community Schools Board of Education.
Five candidates are vying for two seats on the Bronson School Board. The candidates are Brenda Kelley, Deborah Balowski, Frank Barker, Michelle L. Barker and Steve Wilson.
The Bronson School District will host a candidates forum next Monday, September 30, at 6:00 p.m. in the Junior/Senior High School Library.
Three candidates are running for two seats on the Quincy School Board. They are DeeDee Theresa Davenport, Denny Taylor and Chelsea Lofton.
Jennifer Gautsche and Archie Mears are the only two candidates running for the two Union City School Board seats that are up for election. Jeremy D. Steele is the only candidate vying a partial term seat on the school board.
