COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Legg Middle School girls volleyball teams took on Harper Creek on Tuesday night.
The 8th graders lost 8-25, 14-25. Leading the team at serving was Claire Paul with three points and one ace. Kirah Sloan had three points, Mackenxie Miller had two points and a ace.
Avrey Qualls recorded four digs, Keely Love had three kills and Hadley Schabloski had two digs. Mckenzie Miller recorded three assists, one kill and one dig.
The 8th grade B team lost all 3 games against Harper Creek 18-25, 16-25, 12-15. Chloee Huston went 5-5, Saige Auble went 5-6 with 1 ace, Livia Williams went 5-6 with 1 ace and 1 dig and 1 hit, Natalie Quiroz went 5-9 with 1 ace and 2 digs, Ephraim Paul went 5-7 with 1 ace and 1 dig and Avery Depew went 4-5.
The 7th grade A team lost to 25-14, 25-11, 15-10. Legg was lead at the service line by Reagan Collins 6-8 with 1 ace, Charlie Woodward 4-4, Enola Mitchell 3-4 with 1 ace, Ella Howard 3-3, Cadence Johnson 3-5 with 2 aces, Kenna Perez 2-4 and Larue McDonald 3-5. Kenna Perez and Charlie Woodward both had 7 digs on the night.
