COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Economic Growth Alliance has announced a forum that will focus on the W.E. Upjohn Institute’s Employer Resource Network will take place on Thursday, October 24, at 12:00 noon at Kellogg Community College’s Grahl Center.
According to a press release from the BCEGA, the forum will provide an in-depth look at the network’s model, which is designed to enhance workforce retention and productivity through employee support and training.
The BCEGA plans to hold quarterly forums as part of a new and ongoing effort to better connect Branch County employers to tools, resources, and technical assistance.
Those who attend will learn about the benefits of ERNs, including on-the-job success coaching, financial literacy training, and connections to community resources.
The presentation and discussion will be led by Kelli Adams. She is the ERN Director at the Center for Workforce Innovation & Solutions which is a division of the Upjohn Institute for Employment Research.
