COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The field of candidates to be the next Branch County Veteran Service Officer has been reduced to three.
Branch County Administrator Bud Norman told the Board of Commissioners during their Thursday work session there were 23 applicants for the job.
Whoever is hired would take over for Charles Scott who is retiring. Norman said Scott met with the five applicants who were interviewed on Wednesday.
The County Commissioners will interview the three finalists next Tuesday afternoon before their regular meeting.
The interviews will start at 2:00 p.m.. Each finalist will get 45 minutes to be interviewed by the Commissioners.
The Commissioners will then have their regular meeting at 4:30 p.m..
