HUDSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson, Union City and Quincy cross country teams all competed on Saturday at the Hudson Booster Invitational.
In the Upper Division, the Quincy Boys’ team finished 11th and the Girls’ team finished 9th.
Two Quincy boys earned medals as Chayse Jensen was 31st and Carter Feltner was 32nd.
Quincy had three girls earn medals. Laney Yearling was 16th, Kendyl Musielewicz was 23rd and Charlotte Crabbs was 28th. Danica Swift was the only Quincy Runner that ran a new PR.
Union City’s boys won the Lower Division title while Bronson was seventh.
In a field of 106 runners, the Chargers were led by Ben Gautsche who placed 2nd with a time of 16:54. Teammate Jason Shoop followed closely behind placing 4th in a time of 17:19.
Bronson was led by Adam Franks who was 24th while Tyler Wilber was 31st.
The Union City girls were second in the Lower Division while Bronson was third.
Skyler Fraley led the Chargers with a 5th place finish in a time of 20:06. Teammate Alli Gautsche placed 7th with a time of 20:53.
Ava Hathaway led Bronson with a third place finish. Her teammate Ashlynn Harris was fourth.
