Jack W. Graef, Jr., 69, Lake George, Coldwater, Michigan passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2024 prior to the service at Beams Funeral Home.
He was born on July 25, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Jack and Marilyn (Smith) Graef.
Jack graduated from Coldwater High School in 1974.
He married Annette Livingston on March 28, 1981 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Jack was a farmer and worked for McLatcher’s Heating/Air and Refrigeration for many years. He was a member of the Lakeland FIre Department Board.
He was a wonderful, loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved the outdoors, gardening, snowmobiling, and spending time in Northern Michigan. He was a native to Lake George and loved sharing time with his family there.
Jack was filled with laughter and unconditional love. He was the most generous and giving person who would help anyone in need. Jack was taken from us too soon but his spirit will live on in our memories.
Jack leaves behind his wife, Annette Graef of Lake George, Coldwater, Michigan, children, Eric (Renita) Graef of South Bend, Indiana, Adam (Julie) Graef of Noblesville, Indiana, and Sara (Michael) Rosen of Huntertown, Indiana, grandchildren, Caleb, Brynn and Garrett Graef, Jack, Sophia and Lucas Rosen, sisters, Susan Shettler (Doug Byrd) of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Linda (David) Stein of Dallas, Texas, sister-in-law, Sue (James) Dickens of Frisco, Texas, brother-in-law, David (Sherry) Livingston, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
