AMSTERDAM (Reuters) – Infections with a bluetongue virus variant for which no vaccine is available, BTV12, have been discovered in the Netherlands this week, the Dutch government said on Friday.
The cases were found in a sheep and in a cow and its calf at two different farms in the centre of the Netherlands on Thursday.
