BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Branch County is included in a Freeze Warning that has been issued for the early morning hours of Wednesday.
The Freeze Warning is in effect from 2:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. as sub freezing temperatures as low as 30 degrees are expected in portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan and northwest Ohio.
This is Branch County’s first Freeze Warning of the season. Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
You should take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
The weather is expected to warm up heading into the weekend with highs near 70 on Saturday and Sunday.
