HILLSDALE COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – An Osseo woman was injured Saturday morning when her vehicle struck a deer in Hillsdale County.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says 34-year-old Brooke Williams was injured in the crash which was reported at 5:08 a.m. on Pioneer Road near Camden Road.
According to their investigation, Williams was traveling south on Pioneer Road in a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox when a deer ran into the road and was struck by her vehicle.
Williams was the only occupant in the vehicle. She was transported by the Reading Emergency Unit to Hillsdale Community Health Center for non-life threatening injuries.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office was also assisted at the scene by the Woodbridge Township Fire Department and the Reading Emergency Unit.
The crash remains under investigation.
