COLDWATER TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A woman and two children were taken to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital late Saturday afternoon following a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Michigan and Newton Roads.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says the crash happened at 5:32 p.m. when a 2008 Chevy Silverado driven by a 27-year-old Coldwater man failed to yield at the stop sign and collided with a 2013 Kia Soul driven by a 28-year-old woman from Quincy.
The male driver made no complaints of injuries. The female driver sustained injuries to her head, arm, and leg. Two children in her vehicle sustained minor injuries as well.
The female driver was transported to ProMedica by LifeCare ambulance. The children were also transported by family members to ProMedica.
Deputies were assisted by the Michigan State Police, LifeCare Ambulance, the Coldwater Fire Department and Coldwater Towing.
It was the third injury crash in Branch County in two days.
