New part time officer hired by Union City Police Department

UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The Union City Police Department has announced the hiring of part time officer Brandon Baker.

The Colon High School graduate got his law enforcement training at the Kalamazoo Valley Community College Law Enforcement Academy almost 17 years ago.

Besides being a part time officer for the Union City Police Department, Baker runs Baker Boys Construction and Iron Sites Firearms.

Both businesses are based in Colon.
