BETHEL TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A Bronson woman lost her life late Saturday morning in a crash on Snow Prairie Road north of Lindley Road.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says the crash was reported at about 11:00 a.m. and involved a 2012 GMC Acadia.
Deputies found vehicle occupant 45-year-old Kelda Tiller unresponsive. CPR was started by a bystander prior to arrival of EMS but efforts to revive her were unsuccessful and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, 44-year-old Benjamin Young of Coldwater, was taken to Bronson Hospital by LifeCare Ambulance for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The accident is still under investigation, seat belts were worn, and airbag were deployed.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Life-Care Ambulance and the Bronson Fire Department.



A lot of bad accidents with fatalities are happening at or near intersections on rural roads in Branch County. Please be more cautious while traveling.
