COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Marshall Community Credit Union along with local law enforcement, will host a series of fraud awareness educational events in Battle Creek, Coldwater, and Marshall next week as part of International Fraud Awareness Week.
The events, titled “Fighting Fraud: Protecting Our Communities,” aims to educate attendees on the various types of fraud, including cyber scams, financial exploitation, and more.
Participants will gain valuable insights into the techniques used by fraudsters, how to identify warning signs, tips for securing your personal and financial information and how to report fraud.
The two hour event in Coldwater will take place next Wednesday, November 20 at the Branch District Library at 10 East Chicago in downtown Coldwater starting at 11:00 a.m..
