COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch Area Food Pantry Holiday Food Distribution is scheduled for this Saturday, November 23 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m..
The City of Coldwater says traffic onto Pierson Street from Williams, Henry, Taylor, Harrison, and West Chicago will be blocked off temporarily.
Food pantry traffic down Pierson Street will be southbound from Waterman Avenue and single file. Traffic will turn into the north entrance of the pantry parking lot, where patrons will receive their food. Traffic will then exit on the south side and must make a left hand turn onto southbound Pierson to West Chicago.

The Coldwater Police and Fire Departments will be on hand once again on Saturday to help with traffic control.
More than 1,000 holiday food boxes with over 30,000 food items were distributed last year.
The boxes are full of food for both Thanksgiving and Christmas and are intended to help those in need who maybe struggling during the holiday season. Pre-registration is required.
The planning for the annual distribution starts during the summer time as food and donations are collected from the community.
The Branch Area Food Pantry is totally operated by volunteers.
