ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – An Angola man was given a 65-year prison sentence on Wednesday in Steuben County Superior Court after he was convicted by a jury last month of murder.
WANE-TV reports 29-year-old Yoshua Monday was given a 55 year sentence for murdering 56-year-old Bryan Hall in his apartment back on October 12, 2023.
Monday was given an additional 10 years by Judge William Fee on the use of a firearm enhancement.
The guilty verdict was handed down after a five day jury trial.
WANE-TV had earlier reported that according to court documents, witnesses told investigators Monday had been talking to a witch and was acting very strange and paranoid in the three days leading up to Hall’s murder in the 600 block of East Gilmore in Angola.
