QUINCY TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – The driver of a 2025 Freightliner Semi-box truck was injured Monday morning when his vehicle overturned and wound up on its side.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says the crash happened at U.S. 12 and Aggragate Drive between Coldwater and Quincy just after 8:00 a.m..
They report 32-year-old Jose J. Flores Gallegoes of Chicago, Illinois was driving the vehicle which was transporting produce at the time.
Gallegoes was treated at the scene by LifeCare Ambulance and transported to Insight Coldwater Hospital due to head injuries.
The crash remains under investigation. Deputies were assisted by LifeCare Ambulance, D&K Wrecker, First Call Wrecker, the Quincy Fire Department and the Michigan State Police.
