HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – An Osseo woman was arrested on a felony warrant on Monday after she was charged in connection with an October 28 injury crash.
26-year-old Terasa Rae Lopresto was booked at the Hillsdale County Jail on a charge of OWI-Causing Serious Injury.
A $20,000 bond with 10 percent allowed was posted.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office reported the crash took place on Moore Road near Hillsdale Road.
According to a Sheriff’s Office news release, 74-year-old Gary Cobb of Waldron was traveling south on Hillsdale Road in a 2004 Dodge Ram when a eastbound vehicle driven on Moore Road by Lopresto allegedly did not yield at a stop sign and collided with the passenger side of Cobb’s vehicle.
The Cobb vehicle rolled over into the ditch while Lopresto’s vehicle came to a stop in the middle of Hillsdale Road.
Cobb was transported to Hillsdale Community Health Center by Reading Emergency Unit to be treated for his injuries.
Lopresto was taken to Hillsdale Community Health Center by a Hillsdale County Sheriff deputy to be treated for her injuries and to have a blood draw test completed.
