COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The annual meeting of the Tibbits Opera Foundation and Arts Council, Incorporated has been scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025.
Tibbits Board President John Bolton says, “The theatre’s annual meeting gives us a chance to review the past year and show how we’ve been serving and engaging the community. It also gives us a chance to thank those who support and believe in Tibbits.”
The annual meeting will offer members and the community a chance to meet the board of directors and staff over refreshments before the meeting highlights the activities, events and financials of the theatre’s fiscal year, which ended September 30.
As a nonprofit organization and according to its bylaws, Tibbits must hold a general meeting of its membership each year in order to present an annual report and elect members to the board of directors.
It will include a review of the historic theatre’s 2023-2024 fiscal year.
There will also be a preview of the upcoming Coldwater High School musical “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical”. The meeting will be held in the theatre and is open to the public.
