COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Veterans Board is scheduled to interview three finalists to be the next Branch County Veterans Service officer on Friday.
Applications for the position were accepted through last Friday, January 17, 2025.
Branch County Veterans Board chair Rod Olney says 21 applications were submitted. The Veterans Board held a special meeting on Tuesday to go over the applications.
The three finalists chosen were Nicholas Easterling, Parker Radcliffe and Whitney Lewis.
The interviews with the finalists are scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m. on Friday morning. Easterling will be interviewed first followed by Radcliffe at 9:45 a.m. and Lewis at 10:30 a.m..
It’s hoped the board can select the new Veterans Service Officer after the interviews are over on Friday with that person starting their new duties on Monday pending a physical and a background check.
Whoever is selected will take over for Charles Scott who is retiring as of February 28, 2025.
