Max E. Lutz, 83, of Bronson passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Insight Hospital and Medical Center Coldwater.
The funeral service will be Monday, February 3, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Rev. Fr. Dan Hyman officiating. Interment will follow at East Gilead Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson.
Max was born April 9, 1941 in Coldwater, MI to Marion & Marjorie (McDonald) Lutz.
Max was an owner/operator working in agricultural transport for most of his life. He drove for many local farmers including Gary Albright. He had formerly worked for Douglas Autotech in earlier years.
Max was a private, simple man in his life and his catholic faith. Outside of his career, he dedicated his life to his family, especially his grandchildren.
Max is survived by his children Tina (Dave) Pratt of Burr Oak, Tim (Kris) Lutz of Kalamazoo, Anna (Mike) Eddy of Coldwater, his daughter-in-law Debi Ososki-Lutz of Grand Rapids; his sister Pam Herndon of Waterloo, IN; his grandchildren David (Erin) Wade, Brandon (Elaine) Dunagan, Tyler (Missy Zerle) Thompson, Austin (Tricia) Lutz, Mykayla Lutz, Jordan Eddy, Breanna (Dylan Horn) Eddy; his great grandchildren Lawson Lutz, Addilynn Wade, Bailey Wade and his former wife Sharon Wade of Burr Oak.
He was preceded in death by his son Anthony Lutz in 2013 and his brothers Paul Lutz and Bernie Lutz.
