Steven Forrest Buckley, 77, of Coldwater passed away at the Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility Wednesday, January 29, 2025.
There will be no memorial services at this time.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
He was born in Coldwater to William J. and Dorothy (Hanson) Buckley Christmas Eve 1947.
Steven graduated high school then went on to serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. Once he returned home, he worked for HC Stark Solutions in Coldwater as a CNC operator. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time on the water competing in Bass fishing tournaments. He was a natural outdoorsman and loved any local fishing spots like Gilead Lake or Marble Lake. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed supporting his grandkids sports and events.
Survivors include his children, Kristina “Kristy” Buckley of Quincy, and Gregory (Shanna) Buckley of Coldwater; Stepdaughter Callie (Chuck) Callahan; two sisters, Ginger (Bill) Acock, and Dale (Rob) Janusch; one brother, Doug Buckley; two grandchildren, Miles and Keller Buckley; two step-grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon Callahan; and ex-wife, Patricia (Ron) Lampman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, James and Jerry Buckley.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
