QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Three new members will be inducted into the Quincy High School Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, February 14 during halftime of the Boys Varsity Basketball game against the Bronson Vikings.
Going into the Hall are Keith Teachout from the class of 1980, Josh Bartell from the class of 1999, Jake Rider from the class of 2015, and the 2005 Quincy Oriole Girls Basketball team.
This will be the 22nd year for the Hall of Fame. There have been more than 95 individuals and several teams inducted into the Hall of Fame over the years.
Nominations are submitted by alumni, staff, or any interested fan of Quincy athletics. A selection committee considers the overall contribution to the athletic program of each nominee.
Individual statistics may be a major factor, however, the impact that a player has on the success of teams is a greater factor in the selection of an individual athlete.
