BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – A 35-year-old woman is facing numerous charges after the Southwest Enforcement Team and a Michigan State Police Canine Unit served a search warrant at what authorities called a licensed daycare facility in a Bronson residence on Thursday.
State Police said in a post on social media that they seized illegal narcotics including cocaine and a stolen gun.
Ember May Finley was arrested at her Compton Street home and booked at the Branch County Jail on two counts of Dealing a Controlled Substance, Tampering with Evidence, Maintaining a Controlled Substance, Felony Firearms and Fourth Degree Child Abuse.
Finley was arraigned on Friday. She is free after posting bond at the Branch County Jail.
During the execution of the search warrant, authorities say they seized several illegal narcotics, including cocaine and a large amount of hydrocodone, both packaged consistent with sale and distribution.
State Police say this is still an ongoing investigation and additional charges may be requested.
