COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Legg Middle School girls basketball teams faced off against Hastings on Monday night.
The 8th grade A team won 41-28. Addy Bucklin had 20 points, 8 rebounds, 9 steals, and 1 assist. Ellerie Bucklin had 12 points, 12 rebounds, 9 steals, 5 assists, and 1 block. Hadley Schabloski contributed 7 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block. Legg only had six turnovers.
The 8th grade B team lost 27-18. Tanely Flores led with 10 points, 10 steals, two rebounds and a assist. Sophia Lepper had six points, 14 rebounds and three steals. Racheal Granger had 2 rebounds, Elliette VanWagner had four rebounds and Taylor Sturgeon had a rebound.
The 7th grade A team lost 41-19.
