COLDWATER TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Sheriff’s Department has released information on the seizure of drugs, weapons and stolen property at a Coldwater Township residence in December.
Sheriff Fred Blankenship said in a department news release that evidence of drug distribution was also discovered at the scene. The location was not revealed.
He also said the investigation led to the recovery of a stolen side-by-side vehicle that had been reported missing locally.
Charges are being sought for drug possession, intent to deliver, firearms offenses and possession of stolen property. There were no mentions in the news release of any suspects being arrested.
Coldwater Police and LifeCare Ambulance also assisted with the operation.
The investigation is continuing and Blankenship says further information will be released at a later time.
