DOWAGIAC, MI (WTVB) – Four wrestlers from Branch County advanced to the regional round of the M.H.S.A.A. girls wrestling tournament on Sunday.
Mackenna Webster of Bronson won the Dowagiac district championship at 140 pounds as she scored a pin over Makayla McWilliams of Marcellus in 2:31.
Also advancing to regionals next Sunday at Portage Northern were Kailynne Scare of Bronson (2nd-190), Maleah Grubbs of Tekonsha (4th at 190) and Madelynne Hawthorne of Union City (2nd at 105).
