COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater hosted the 15th annual Stick It for a Cure gymnastics invitational on Saturday which featured a field of 17 teams.
There were 11 different schools present from all over the state of Michigan. There were even teams from as far away as Escanaba and Bark River in the Upper Peninsula.
The Coldwater girls team also uses this event to raise money from the community to support those in the community who are currently undergoing cancer treatments.
With the help of a silent auction, bake sale, t-shirt sales, and community sponsors, the girls have been able to raise about $5,000 to help members of the community. The girls would like to send all of their sponsors a big thank you. A special thank you to TS Transit, and Century Bank and Trust.
Here are the results for the Coldwater Cardinals.
