JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Cardinal bowlers split with Jackson Northwest on Monday afternoon at Jax 60 Lanes.
The Coldwater Varsity Girls won a close match 16-14. Coldwater won both regular games 790 to 761 and 817 to 740, taking totals 1,607 to 1,501. They dropped both Baker games 162 to 123 and 165 to 138, losing totals 327 to 261.
The girls were led by Ashlyn Caswell with a 207, Grace Tuttle with games of 201 and 197, Alana Houtz a 186 and Kylie Cook a 181.
The Coldwater Varsity boys had a rough night as they lost their meet 21 to 9. The boys won game one 878 to 838, dropped their second regular game 896 to 832, also lost totals 1,734 to 1,710. They lost both Baker games 182 to 181 and 175 to 138, losing totals 357 to 319.
The Coldwater boys were led by Ian Schindler, with a 223, Lennon Swick a 198 and Zach Robison a 178.
The JV squad dropped their meet 18 to 12. The JV’s were led by Aiden Butters with a 196 game.
