COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater City Council approve the introduction of agreements on Monday night that would cover a Branch Area Careers Center Student Sculpture Initiative in the downtown Four Corners park.
Branch County Economic Development Coordinator Erin Veysey said this is a student-led project that involves several departments from the Branch Area Career Center.
The project is being supported by local sponsors.
There are plans to unveil the sculpture in the Northwest Park on April 25, in conjunction with Arbor Day celebrations. The sculpture would be near where the large Santa Claus is placed during the holiday season.
Final approval of the agreements by the City Council is scheduled for next month.
