BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for a large portion of southwest Michigan, northern Indiana and northwest Ohio in anticipation of mixed precipitation.
Branch County is included in the Winter Weather Advisory which is in effect from 1:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon through 7:00 a.m. Thursday.
This replaces the Winter Storm Watch that was earlier issued.
Forecasters are calling for total snow accumulations of between 3 and 6 inches with ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch.
Give yourself extra time if you need to drive as slippery road conditions are expected.
The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening commute.
