COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Golf Course has announced that Carter Geigley is their new Head Golf Professional.
According to a post on the golf course’s Facebook page, Geigley will be leading daily play, instruction, tournament management, and member engagement.
He also will be working closely with Golf Operations Manager Jordan Withington.
Geigley has spent the last four years as an assistant professional at Island Hills.
He is a Centreville High School graduate who played competitively at Bethel University.
Geigley developed a deep love for the game at just 12 years old through his local PGA Jr. League.
He is happily married to his high school sweetheart, Madi, and they share a home on the St. Joe River with their two beloved dogs, Lola & Daisy.
After an extensive search to fill the position, officials at the course say Geigley stood out as the perfect fit to grow the game at their facility through membership engagement, youth programs, and teaching.
Geigley says, “I couldn’t be more excited to join the team at Coldwater Golf Course and be a part of this incredible golf community. Growing the game and working with golfers of all ages and skill levels is my passion, and I can’t wait to get started!”
