COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Branch County man with a criminal history dating back over three decades was ordered to serve another term in the Michigan Department of Corrections on Monday in Branch County Circuit Court.
53-year-old Bobby Joe Horsley was given a prison sentence of between 19 months and 10 years after he entered a guilty plea to being in possession of a controlled substance. He was given credit for 154 days already served in the Branch County Jail.
Horsley was arrested by the Branch County Sheriff’s Department last August.
M.D.O.C. records indicate Horsely has a criminal history dating back to 1992.
They show he has been convicted for unarmed robbery, larceny, operating while intoxicated, receiving and concealing stolen property and tampering with an electronic monitoring device.
