COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Participation in Coldwater High School’s Early College program continues to grow.
A total of 67 students applied this year which has surpassed previous enrollment numbers.
The program is offered through the Branch County Early College in partnership with Kellogg Community College.
It allows students to earn both their high school diploma and up to 62 college credits at no additional cost by covering tuition and book fees.
B.I.S.D. Early College program coordinator Alexandra Milton says participation has steadily increased in recent years.
In 2024, 42 students enrolled, and in 2023, a then-record 48 joined.
