COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Community Schools Board of Education formally accepted the resignation of Legg Middle School teacher Keith Johnson on Monday night.
Johnson was arrested last week following an investigation by the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office and the Coldwater Police Department into allegations of voyeurism.
Johnson lives in Calhoun County’s Eckford Township. He was arraigned last Thursday in Calhoun County District Court on three counts of installing a device-eavesdropping and one count of using a computer to commit a crime.
Bond was set at $4,000. A pre exam conference was scheduled for this Friday with a preliminary exam on March 6.
Coldwater Community Schools Superintendent Paul Flynn said in a statement released last Wednesday that Johnson was placed on leave immediately following his arrest.
Flynn added there is currently no evidence the alleged crimes took place on school property or involved school resources.
Johnson had served as a teacher for Coldwater Community Schools since 2019. He was also a junior varsity and varsity girls soccer coach until 2023.

In the court of law you are innocent until proven guilty. If he did it he more then likely have more victims. There’s probably more cameras.
Call it like it is. Voyeurism is the crime of watching or recording someone without their knowledge or consent, usually for sexual gratification. Better known as peeping.
