COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch I.S.D. Board of Education approved a time line as well as a salary range Wednesday night as the process for finding the successor for retiring Superintendent Kris Jenkins continues.
Applications from candidates will be accepted between March 20 and April 22.
The board is scheduled is go over results of a stakeholder survey as well as approve the candidate profile and the final posting during their meeting on March 19.
A Special Board Meeting to review candidates and select the ones that want to interview is scheduled for April 28.
The first round of interviews will take place May 6 and 7 with the second round scheduled for May 13.
The board also agreed to offer a three year contract and they approved a salary schedule of between $161,859 and $171,197.
Jenkins will be retiring from the district on June 30 after serving as the B.I.S.D. Superintendent since July of 2018. She has been in education for 36 years.
