COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Tibbits Opera House has announced its schedule for the 38th season of its Popcorn Theatre.
The series of family-friendly shows will take place on Friday and Saturday mornings from June 6 through August 2.
This year’s lineup includes three plays brought to life by Tibbits’ professional Summer Theatre company members, a musical storybook from Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra and the comedy magic of Jonathon LaChance.
Popcorn Theatre kicks off with Dragons Love Tacos on June 6.
The comedy will be followed by The Girl Who Swallowed a Cactus on June 20.
On July 11 and 12, a Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra quintet will perform one of their musical storybooks, Last Stop on Market Street, by Matt de la Peña.
Popcorn Theater will then present Snow White starting on July 18.
As the summer winds down, Popcorn Theatre will close with magician and comedian Jonathon LaChance on August 1 and 2.
Tickets for the Popcorn shows are $10 each and include complimentary popcorn and juice.
