COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man was ordered to serve up to five years in the Michigan Department of Corrections on Monday in Branch County Circuit Court after he entered a no contest plea to a charge of third degree fleeing from a police officer.
38-year-old Matthew Stansberry was charged following an incident involving the Union City Police Department last September. He was given credit for 54 days already spent in jail.
Stansberry also had his probation revoked in two other cases in which he entered no contest pleas to charges of receiving and concealing stolen property and aggravated stalking.
He received concurrent prison sentences of up to five years in both of those cases.
