COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A new Master Plan is being pursued by the City of Coldwater.
The city’s current Master Plan was adopted in 2017 and re-affirmed by the City Council in 2022.
The Coldwater Planning Commission heard presentations from the firms of McKenna and Associates, Progressive Companies and Abonmarche who are looking to win the job of working on the Master Plan during their meeting on Monday night
City Manager Keith Baker said that under state law, a new one is needed.
He added a grant is helping to defray some of the costs.
City Planner Robert Hawley asked Planning Commission members for their feedback as he will be presenting a report to the City Council at a later time.
