PLEASANT TOWNSHIP, IN (WTVB) – Two Angola residents were arrested Wednesday morning after the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department seized a large quantity of suspected drugs.
The Sheriff’s Department says the arrests took place following an investigation which lasted for many months.
The arrests came after a search warrant was executed in the 1900 block of South County Road 445 West.
54-year-old Susan Marie Nevil and 51-year-old Chad William Kiser had active warrants for their arrests alleging their involvement with the sale of narcotics.

During the search of the residence, suspected narcotics including Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, scales, and other items believed to be involved in the sale of narcotics were seized by detectives.
A dog was also found in the residence which was safely secured and transported from the scene by the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County.
Nevil and Kiser were booked into the Steuben County Jail on numerous charges including dealing in methamphetamine.
Assisting the Sheriff’s Office during the investigation were the Auburn Police Department, DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, Noble County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Steuben County E.M.S., and the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County.
