ANGOLA, IN (WTVB)- A Steuben County pastor is facing child molestation charges.
Indiana State Police say 69-year-old Roger Dailey Strong of Angola has been charged with three counts Level 1 child molestation and two Level 4 counts of child molestation. The alleged offences occurred between January and May 2024 against a five-year-old girl.
Strong, who served as pastor of the Orland Church of the Nazarene for over 40 years, resigned his position after initial questioning by State Police detectives.
During his initial court appearance Tuesday before Magistrate James Burns had his bail set at $200,000.
A pretrial conference is scheduled for May 5th with a trial date scheduled for September 4, 2025.
If convicted on all counts Strong could face up to 176 years in prison.
