BATTLR CREEK, MI (WTVB) – Earlier this month Kellogg Community College recognized outstanding high school counselor partners with Outstanding Counselor Awards, including Josie Smith from the Branch Area Career Center, who was one of three recipients.
The others included Amanda May, Harper Creek High School And Lisa Redmer from Bellevue Jr./Sr. High School.
KCC Early College and Dual Enrollment Manager Angie Bess said the College “is proud to recognize the dedication and impact of these outstanding counselors.”
“Their commitment to supporting students and fostering an environment that promotes college and career readiness is really above and beyond,” Bess says “At KCC, we value our partnerships with the local schools and the counselors who work tirelessly to guide students through their educational journeys. These awards are a well-deserved acknowledgement of their passion and service.”
