COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Planning Commission recommended to the City Council Monday night that they approve a rezoning request that would allow a North Hanchett Street property owner to convert his former barber shop space into an apartment.
Wes Kinsey wants to rezone the property at 50 North Hanchett Street which used to house Kinsey’s Barber Shop from C-2 Central Business District to A-3 Multi Family Residential District.
The 65 by 125 foot building on less than two-tenths of an acre of land is currently vacant.
A neighbor expressed a parking concern during public comment.
