Michelle Jayne (Gillette) Clark, 64, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at the Bronson American Legion.
She was born on November 30, 1960 Coldwater, MI, to William and Jacqueline Gillette. She was a resident of Bronson, MI, and a 1978 graduate of Bronson High School. She was married to her late husband, Richard Clark, for 41 years.
Michelle had a heart of gold and would go to great lengths to uplift anyone in need. She has an extraordinary gift for connecting with others and could effortlessly strike up a conversation with anyone she met. Her courage to speak her truth was truly inspiring. With her fiery spirit, she could light up a room.
She had a profound love for life and cherished every moment spent with her friends, especially Randy Callaway.
Michelle is survived by her sister, Jill Good (Gillette) Hendersonville, TN; her sister-in-laws Daphne York VanVorst (Steve) Colon, MI; and Effie Reed (Edward) Quincy, MI. Brother-in-laws, Terry Clark MI; Buddy Clark AL; Terence Clark (FL) Nieces Heather Holbrooks, TN; Le’Angel York-Pince, MI; Halie Clark Sadler, FL; Allison Clark Woltman (Colin), AL; Nephews Jason Wheeler, TN; Heath Gillette (Theresa) MI, Great nieces Jaclyn Holbrooks TN; Arianna Herman WI; Great nephews, Sebastian Gillette, Steel Gillette MI; Ashton Pince WI
In addition to her husband Richard, Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline Gillette, and her brother, Stewart Gillette, her mother-in-law Lois, and her father-in-law, Harvey Clark, and her niece Amanda (Mandi) York.
